This learning journey can be tailored to you

We've built the Data Protection Unit for retail on this Learningstore page, but we will adapt it to other industries. So fear not, if your organization is in production, hospitality, transport, service or other sectors, we will adapt it to you.

72% of retail organizations have experienced a security breach in the last 12 months.

Why? Today’s training methods don’t secure knowledge transfer, behavior change, or compliance impact.

Why retail organizations needs better GDPR training

The threat

Highly targeted industry

Retail is the third-most targeted sector for cyber attacks.

Gaps in the defence

High turnover

A majority of part-time workers means knowledge gaps form faster.

The weakest link

Human behavior

When employees aren’t equipped to spot the signs, awareness and behavioral change matter as much as technology.

The Program: The Data Protection Unit

We’ve built a Sherlock Holmes–inspired GDPR learning program for HQ, leaders, and retail employees that turns dry compliance into an engaging investigation and makes the rules clear, practical, and memorable.

Even simple questions — like whether CCTV counts as personal data or a name on a receipt — often lead to uncertainty and, in the end data breach. This program is designed to bring clarity across every little piece of knowledge that could become a retail organization's worst nightmare.

This GDPR program is tailored to HQ, leaders, and retail employees, so each group gets training that fits their daily tasks and data risks. It improves decisions, cuts compliance errors, and protects your customers and your business.

Our goal is clear: remove confusion, drive engagement, and make GDPR practical, memorable, and tightly linked to everyday work.

Because compliance isn’t just a case to close.

It’s an ongoing investigation where employees learn to think like detectives – spotting risks and acting correctly in real-life scenarios – long after the training is over.

What's in the program?

A series of mysterious incidents have occurred: a forgotten copy, an email sent to the wrong recipient etc.

Each case becomes a “file” to solve, where participants gather evidence, identify what went wrong, and apply GDPR principles to prevent future breaches.

Within this world, the organization has formed the Data Protection Unit – a special team dedicated to safeguarding personal data.
